Located in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, Golden Pond is an Assisted Living residence where seniors can enjoy a carefree life. We are nestled amidst ten picturesque acres and attractive landscaped grounds, including a delightful conservation pond.

When caring, compassion and quality matter.
Golden Pond provides comfortable, affordable one- and two-bedroom apartment homes with fully equipped kitchens, spacious living areas and scenic views. Common areas include a library, a café and gardens. The community also features a 24-hour emergency response system, on-site health center, Healthy Living Wellness Program, scheduled transportation and diverse leisure activities. Our guiding principle is to create a community where residents can age with dignity. We invite you to discover the Golden Pond Difference.
Golden Pond Assisted Living, 50 West Main Street, Hopkinton has announced that they are now managing the Memory Support Neighborhood at Golden Pond formerly known as Compass at Hopkinton, owned and operated by Senior Living Residences (SLR) which had been renting the third floor at Golden Pond since July 2010.  The Compass lease officially expired on December 13, 2014 at which time Golden Pond resumed operations with 95% of the Compass direct care staff staying on and continuing their roles with Golden Pond.

Golden Pond will continue to manage the unit with the same operating plan that has been in place with the Executive Office of Elder Affairs.  Training, programs, and ongoing therapeutic activities will continue to be the foundation of it’s success.

We are very excited about the growth of Golden Pond,” said Katy Tavares, Executive Director for Assisted Living. “Now that Country View is part of the larger campus, residents and families can take advantage of all the programming we have,” she said.  As we enter into 2015 Golden Pond is positioned better than ever to provide an exceptional experience in senior living.

Golden Pond has a long history as the first free-standing assisted living in New England, operating since 1992 and a proven track record with dementia care.

Above, some of the executive staff of the facility pause for a pose as the evening winds down. The benefit, which was made up of small women-owned businesses, was held for Project Just Because, a Hopkinton-based charity working out of a facility on South Street.

Motivation speaker Don Arnoudse brought his highly charged positive energy to over 60 employees of the Golden Pond Assisted Care Facility yesterday in The Lodge. His main message is:

We do not have to live the seductive but toxic story of “thoroughly using ourselves up before we die”. We can do what makes us come alive—every day, every moment—until our last breath. We can die full of life—and make a difference while we live. We can live exuberantly until the end.

Exuberance is an uplifting, contagious energy that moves people into focused, collective action. It’s our birthright; part of the design of being human. Our first order of business is to take care of our own energy, our essential life force, our exuberance. This requires constant attention to how we mix self-care, purpose, and relationships. It's our "light" that raises the spirits of those we serve.
